From state and municipal codes, books, newspapers, magazines, other web sites, friends of mine, and of course visitors to this site.

Are these laws for real?

As far as I know, unless they have been repealed, yes. I will attempt to verify as many laws as I can in the state and muncipal codes, but obviously haven't gotten around to everything, so if you know for a fact that one of these laws isn't true, I will take it off and look into it.

Could I be arrested for breaking one of these laws?

Since many are so out of date, you most likely won't get arrested. However, some are still on the books and regularly enforced.

Why did you do this?

I was at work on night looking up stupid laws and decided to add a section to this website. So here we are at the justafreak.com - stupid laws. In other words I really have no life and I had nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon. Sad huh?
